The CDS Weight Loss Program

Trained CDS professionals, including registered dietitians and registered nurses, provide our students with comprehensive materials that include a text book, outlines and handouts. In addition, students receive a pedometer, exercise bands and a comprehensive exercise program.

We teach people how to eat right – without fad diets or special prepackaged foods. Students complete food diaries that allow them to work with their instructor to measure their understanding of the material and ability to put it into practice. We measure weight, body mass index and body fat percentages at the beginning and end of the class.

We realize that permanent lifestyle change is one of the missing components in most weight loss programs. Recognizing that, our classes help students identify and break unhealthy patterns. Our professionals work with students on emotional eating habits and psychological issues to help them reach their goals.

Following the completion of the class, students can contact their instructors or retake the class for a period of one year at no additional charge. You can also access our online tools 24 hours a day to maintain the healthy lifestyle changes you have made and keep the weight off.
